Earlier this week, I finished reading Narada Michael Walden's book Whitney Houston: The Voice, the Music, the Inspiration and of course this reading encouraged me to revisit Whitney Houston's discography and some of her lesser known songs including "Higher Love."
Originally Steve Winwood's 1986 #1 hit, "Higher Love" was rerecorded by Houston, and intended to be included on her 1991 third album I'm Your Baby Tonight. The song was subsequently dropped from the album, however, it was released as a bonus single for the special Japanese release of her third album.
