Lifetime has gone through some hits and misses lately with its original movies but it looks like they have another hit on their hands with the just released trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of the best-selling book, The Vow retitled With This Ring, co-staring Jill Scott, Regina King, and Eve in the film's lead roles.
Slated to air January 24th at 8pm on Lifetime, the cable network really seems to be invested in tales about Black women as of late with the recent biopic about Aaliyah having already hit their airwaves and the Whitney Houston biopic set to air on Lifetime this January.
With that said, from the preview I know that I will be tuning into see what Lifetime has cooked up and hopefully it is more inline with their all-Black adaptation of Steel Magnolias instead of their questionable biopics on Brittany Murphy and Aaliyah.
