Back in 2000, Carl Thomas released his debut album Emotional and the title-track "Emotional" was the third and final single from his first LP. Containing a sample of "Shape Of My Heart" by Sting, "Emotional" would go onto become Carl Thomas' second biggest hit, peaking at #47 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #8 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.
