Brandy has just signed a joint venture record deal with RCA Records and Breyon Prescott’s Chameleon Records which adds her to the ever impressive roster of RCA artists that now include Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Kings of Leon and R. Kelly among others. With that said, Brandy released a statement to the LA Times stating her excitement about her forthcoming project.
"This is truly a blessing,” Brandy said in a statement. “Breyon Prescott, Peter Edge and Tom Corson [RCA Music Group’s president and chief operating officer] believe in me and have introduced me to a home that also believes and knows exactly what to do with the type of music I’m doing. Breyon and the team at RCA/Chameleon are creative and forward-thinking and I am thrilled to be working with them."
While it is still unclear when the record will be released and how it will sound sonically, I know that we can expect a solid vocal showing from Brandy as she always delivers.
