In mear hours, the BET Awards will honor Patti LaBelle with a Lifetime Achievement Award. With that said, it should be interesting to see who has been asked to sing on LaBelle's behalf as only a handful of contemporary artists should even dare attempt to sing a Patti song. With that in mind, check out Patti's amazing cover of the classic "Wind Beneath My Wings," which was made popular by Bette Middler. Though Middler has the most recognized version, I prefer Patti's as she takes it to another emotional level that few can reach. Watch her performance below and Enjoy!
