Album in the Works: "New Life" (Monica)

Monica has been hard at work with a followup to her sixth studio album "Still Standing" and it appears as if her seventh studio album entitled "New Life" will be released later this year with an October 4th release date in sight.  Confirmed on USTREAM last night, the R&B songstress informed her fans that that the release date is almost set in stone and if the date was to change it was due to sample clearance. With that said, longtime collaborators and friends of Monica Missy Elliot and Polow Da Don are expected to make contributions to the forthcoming album and the first single from the effort is expected to drop towards the end of summer.
